Week 1: FAIL

January 21, 2008

Apparently telling the world about my training plans wasn’t enough incentive to actually do it. This post is a little late, but the first day I was totally into it; 2 hours at the gym; followed my plans exactly. On day #2 I was heading to Duluth, MN for a week as co-director of the USSA Revolution Tour Spirit Mountain stop. I honestly thought that even if I worked 18 hours a day that I could still get in my workout. WRONG. My days began at 5 AM and usually ended around 1 AM. There was no room for working out. I am not saying this in a “I was busy and didn’t have time” kind of a way, because I HATE THAT EXCUSE, but there really wasn’t 60 spare minutes in any of my days. So that week was shot.. and I am now out west at another competition.. and have found enough time to redo my entire plan.
